Loveland Opera Theatre's
2025 Season
The Alps Meet the Rockies is the theme of this season for Loveland Opera Theatre. We have focused our musical storytelling on a region of the world that is known for its stories and music alike. Our Alps Meet the Rockies Summer festival series draws inspiration from Salzburg Festival and traditional Oktoberfest's now celebrated around the world. Our main stage production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music has a message as relevant today as it was in the time the story took place. A Night In Vienna caps off our season in style and festivity bringing the refinement of viennese culture to the beautiful TPC Clubhouse overlooking Longs Peak. With programming that features something for opera buffs and those just getting an introduction to this art form, there's sure to be something for everyone this season!
Rodgers and Hammerstein's
Join us for our mainstage production of The Sound of Music playing at the Historic Rialto Theater for 6 shows. This timeless musical will feature some of Colorado's top local talent and young performers from our community in northern Colorado. Longtime friend of LOT, Peter Muller, will be directing this production as maestro A.J. Wulf joins us again leading the music with our fabulous singers and orchestra.

A Night in Vienna
Opera Ball
We could not have our Alps Meet the Rockies season end without a waltz. In true Viennese fashion we invite our guests to dress to the nines and join us for an opulent evening of opera, waltzes, food, and drink. While we're not at the Imperial Palace, we can let the music and merriment transport us there as we enjoy opera and operetta's most celebratory tunes interspersed with classic waltzes. The beautiful TPC clubhouse with the Rocky Mountains in the backdrop will be the perfect Colorado setting for this night you won't want to miss.

Admission includes a three course plated dinner with salad, entree, and dessert as well as non-alcoholic beverages. A cash bar will be available with appropriately themed cocktails.
